Myco Chris, a Ugandan-born gospel musician and pastor, is celebrated for his innovative contributions to contemporary gospel music. Known for blending hip hop and R&B into his productions, Myco records his music primarily with Gold Dust in London, reflecting a fusion of Ugandan and British influences.
Born in Kampala, Myco’s early life was steeped in music, leading him to a successful solo career after stints with boy bands. His discography includes hits like “Wendi,” “Silikusula,” and “More Than A Conqueror,” showcasing his ability to intertwine personal struggles with faith-driven messages.
Beyond music, Myco founded the Kainos Foundation and Kainos Church in London, where he serves as senior pastor. He actively engages in philanthropy, focusing on HIV/AIDS education and youth empowerment. His daughter, Israella Chris, has also made her mark in music, winning a record deal with Universal Records.
