DESIRE LUZINDA Gospel musician and philanthropist (USA/Uganda)

Pop singer and musician Desire Luzinda quickly gained popularity in 2006 with hits like “Nakowa Emikwano” and “Nyumirwa Nyo.” She has performed internationally, including in Canada, Berlin and London. In 2018, she transitioned to gospel music, releasing the “Transition” album. Desire is also known for her philanthropic efforts. In 2021, she founded the Desire Luzinda Foundation International (DLFI), focusing on education, livelihood, and cultural exchange projects. She advocates against cyberbullying, sharing her personal experiences to inspire and support young girls globally.
